Saturday 28th April – walk *** Circuit of Orwell Country Park – cloudy with light drizzle.

After last weeks 20 degrees and wall to wall sunshine it couldn’t have been so different this weekend, 9 degrees and drizzle:( We thought about going out on the bikes but too miserable so Mag suggested we go and look at the bluebells in Orwell Country Park near Ipswich. Sadly, the light rain put us off until after dinner when we wrapped up and headed to Ipswich. As usual the bluebells were lovely but it was stoggy underfoot but the drizzle had eased off. We ended up on the River Orwell foreshore walking under the bridge and up by the noisy A14 and back to the van. Made the most of a grotty afternoon:)
